White Lion and Full Moon

A lion with a white coat and mane stands in grassy savanna of Africa. Overhead the full moon rests in the afternoon sky almost creating a halo for the big cat. In the distance, acacia trees line the horizon.

I've created many works featuring a lion, but this image is my first to contain a white lion. White lions are Southern African Lions with a rare mutation that causes their fur to be white. I got the idea to create an image featuring such an animal from the news where a particular white lion name Mufasa has been mentioned.
